The Wonderboom and Boom 3 are really just different classes of a speaker from Ultimate Ears. The overall design hasn’t changed much, but there are a few notable tweaks (see below). This device will give you an excellent backup with a single charge. The second-generation Wonderboom 2 sounds a little better, is more rugged and has better battery life for the same $100 list price.
